Automotive Composite Development

Profile Composites has been active in the advanced manufacturing of specialty composite parts for the automotive sector since 1999. Several examples of past projects are shown at the right.

Currently, we are involved in a joint effort between major composite industry companies, a strategic partnership that has been assembled under the purview of the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences, to expand and improve upon our previous efforts in rapid manufacturing of high-pressure gas cylinders.

The program team is tasked with developing a production-ready prototype by the third quarter of 2011.
